Argentina: Reminder - domestic against payment settlement service in ARS

Clearstream Banking¹ reminds customers following announcements A18117 and A19006, domestic against payment settlement in Argentinian Pesos (ARS) is available to customers.

Background information

Clearstream Banking offers against payment settlement services in ARS, on all eligible Argentinian asset classes, that is government bonds, corporate bonds, equities and related instruments. In line with the local regulator, the Comisión Nacional de Valores, the Depositantes are deemed to register such transactions in an authorised market. Additionally, OTC settlement on fixed income instruments is also possible via MaeClear (for example trades agreed between two foreign investors, or between a foreign investor and a non-MAE participant), benefitting from the against payment environment and the netting multilateral model.
