Singapore: Holiday due to polling day
Clearstream Banking1 informs customers that effective
10 July 2020
an election will be held in Singapore (polling day) and in accordance with Section 35 of the Parliamentary Elections Act, it will be a public holiday.
Impact on customers
Customers are reminded to take note of this holiday since banks, securities exchanges and central securities depositories will be closed. There will be no market settlement, cash transfers or asset servicing (corporate actions and/or income payment) on that date. External securities and cash instructions received for settlement date or value date on 10 July 2020 will be processed on the next business day (13 July 2020).
