Clearstream Banking currently holds Irish corporate securities in EUI’s CREST system via Citibank NA London branch as its custodian. The impacts of the change of issuer CSD on Clearstream Banking’s current link are being analysed with the aim of maintaining an efficient link, comprehensive settlement and asset servicing offering for customers. In future, this will also include preserving settlement against payment in EUR and the Irish Qualified Intermediary (QI) tax relief service.
