SCoRE and ECMS: Client testing - Update IV
Note: This announcement, originally published on 21 December 2023 and updated on 16 February 2024, 26 April 2024 and 10 May 2024, has been further updated to provide updated timeline information for Phase 3 of Corporate Actions (ISO 20022 format) client testing.
Further to Announcement C23038, Clearstream Banking1 is committed to assisting clients to prepare the implementation of the AMI-SeCo Single Collateral Management Rulebook for Europe (SCoRE) Standards and of the Eurosystem Collateral Management System (ECMS).
Therefore, Clearstream Banking will offer clients the possibility to test the enhancements resulting from the implementation of SCoRE and ECMS during three dedicated testing windows according to the following preliminary timeline:

a. Communication between Clearstream Banking and its clients in ISO 20022 format will be made available in line with the revised ECMS go-live date (to be confirmed).
Phase 1: Corporate Actions Standards (ISO 15022)
The aim of this client testing phase is to ensure connectivity and a functional message exchange between Clearstream Banking and its clients in ISO 15022 format for Corporate Actions, including enhancements resulting from the implementation of SCoRE.
Clients will be able to communicate with Clearstream Banking via the following connectivity channels:
- Xact via Swift;
- Xact via File Transfer;
- Xact Web Portal.
Messages in scope are the following:

Phase 2: Triparty Collateral Management (ISO 15022)
The aim of this client testing phase is to ensure connectivity and a functional message exchange between Clearstream Banking and its clients in ISO 15022 format for Triparty Collateral Management, including enhancements resulting from the implementation of SCoRE and ECMS.
Clients will be able to communicate with Clearstream Banking via the following connectivity channels:
- Xact via Swift;
- Xact via File Transfer;
- Xact Web Portal.
Further to the connectivity between clients and Clearstream Banking, clients will have the opportunity to test the end-to-end flow with ECMS and view in ECMS the end result of the actions they have taken in Clearstream Banking.
