T2S Release 6.3 - Scope

Based on the T2S status reporting end-December 2022, for T2S Release 6.3 24 Problem Ticket have been recommended for a delivery in production. CBF’s assessment related to these Problem Tickets (PBIs) shows that these fixes will not require any software changes in CBF. The changes will have no impact on CBF customers acting in ICP mode.

For customers acting in DCP mode, five PBIs have been identified. Four tickets have already been confirmed for implementation by the T2S Operational Managers Group (OMG). The ticket still proposed for implementation is affecting the graphical user interface (GUI). The attached list gives an overview with an indication of the delivery being planned (“scheduled”) or still waiting for the final decision regarding the implementation in February 2023 to be taken (“candidate”).

T2S Release 6.3 – Transition plan

The deployment of T2S Release 6.3 into production is planned for business day Monday, 20 February 2023. The implementation of the software will take place during the weekend’s T2S maintenance window. Meaning that currently no changes in the T2S Operational Day are expected for the end of day (EoD) procedure on Friday, 17 February 2023, or for the start of business day on Monday, 20 February 2023.

Customer simulation

The simulation activities will be conducted in a “free simulation mode”. The already established static data for CBF accounts and the related connectivity settings in the CBF customer simulation environment (IMS23) remain unchanged.

Irrespective of whether CBF has to modify its software, CBF will maintain its link to the T2S Pre-Production environment (UTEST) so that customers can test on their demand. The updated software can be validated from Monday, 23 January 2023 up to and including Wednesday, 1 February 2023. According to the latest information provided, ECB plans to install the updated software in UTEST on Friday, 20 January 2023.  On that day, the UTEST and the connected test environments will be closed due to installation activities.
