CBF Fileservice – Migration to ClearstreamXact – Update

Note: This Announcement, originally published on 28 November 2022 and last updated on 1 March 2023, has been further updated to provide details on the preparation for the introduction on 2 May 2023.

Clearstream Banking AG, Frankfurt¹ informs customers about the upcoming migration of the CBF Fileservice to ClearstreamXact

for business day, Tuesday, 2 May 2023.

For the purpose of further consolidation, the CBF Fileservice currently offered via Deutsche Börse's platform will be integrated into the established Clearstream Banking services.

CBF's implementation approach for the migration to ClearstreamXact will be done in three steps:

• Preparation
  From the end of March 2023, the extended access management concept will be available via the Xact Web Portal functionality.
  CBF’s implementation approach defines, that reports provided to customers before 28 April 2023 will not be migrated to the new CBF File Service via ClearstreamXact. Customers who have not retrieved their year-end statements 2022 yet are requested to initiate the download as soon as possible. Supporting CBF’s transition phase, the activity shall be executed before 28 April 2023.
• Introduction
  From 2 May 2023, the information provided by CBF systems will be provided in Xact Web Portal.
• Decommissioning
  On 30 June 2023, the previous CBF Fileservice will be switched off. The corresponding website will be blocked.
