Clearstream Banking1 informs customers that effective

immediately

no further CBF accounts can be added to the passive matching service.

Background

The passive matching service creates the corresponding required matching instruction for the buyer. The instruction details are based on the instruction of the seller.

In relation to the harmonisation and modernisation of its settlement system, CBF is planning to decommission the existing passive matching service at a later point in time.

In preparation for this, as a first step, no further CBF accounts can be assigned to the service.

Customers already using the service are requested to initiate and apply active matching until year-end.
