Unified for New Opportunities: Wave 1 market activation milestones for Norway and Australia

Further to our previous announcement regarding the Wave 1 market activation, scheduled for

Friday, 12 December 2025

Clearstream Europe AG¹ would like to share the key milestones that will be communicated to clients throughout the activation process.

All timings are indicative and subject to change. Clients will be informed in case of any significant deviations from the schedule.

Date and time (CET)	Milestone
Thursday, 11 December 2025 – 09:15	CEU has started the market activation activities.
Thursday, 11 December 2025 – 13:30	Final ISIN lists in scope for Wave 1 have been provided to WM and are published under Unified for New Opportunities rollout documentation.
Thursday, 11 December 2025 – 17:15	WM has completed updates to Custody Type (GD400 = 60 NCSC-T) and "OneClearstream Asset Servicing" (OneCAS) from date (LMP Date from WM-GD518E = 12.12.2025) in their database.
Thursday, 11 December 2025 – 19:00	WM GAT file with updated data has been distributed – Point of No Return has been reached.
Thursday, 11 December 2025 – 20:45	Custody type changes have been applied in CEU reference data systems; T2S CSD links created; "OneClearstream Asset Servicing" (OneCAS) from date activated.
Friday, 12 December 2025 – 10:45	Market activation activities for Wave 1 are now complete.

These milestones mark the transition to the Unified for New Opportunities model for Norway and Australia. From Friday, 12 December 2025, securities in scope will be eligible for settlement in T2S via CEU accounts. All instructions sent prior to the market activation will settle on 6-series accounts. After market activation, instructions resulting from German Stock Exchange business (cleared and non-cleared) will be sent to CEU accounts. Clients must ensure having sufficient holdings on the respective accounts. For OTC activities, clients have the choice to either instruct via T2S or keep the flow via the 6-series accounts, latest until final migration.
