Xemac: Upgrade for the July release and public holiday regulation for Easter 2022
Clearstream Banking AG (CBF)1 will implement Xemac version 5.13 with the release on
4 July 2022
Impact on customers
All participating customers must install Xemac version 5.13 by 4 July 2022 at the latest. From this point on, access to both Xemac versions 5.11 and 5.12 will no longer be possible.
Technical enhancements
The new Xemac version contains updates from the optional Xemac 5.12 version and preliminary changes required for Collateral Mobility in October 2022.
The software for Xemac version 5.13 will be available for download from the website under Xemac technical specifications for Premium users from the end of May 2022. The Xemac Installation Manual, available on the same page, will also be updated.
Public holiday regulation for Easter 2022
In addition to Announcement D21043, Clearstream Banking informs customers on the schedule and calculation of collateral value for CBF’s collateral management services (Xemac):
- CBF’s collateral management services will be closed on Good Friday (15 April 2022) and Easter Monday (18 April 2022).
- For the calculation of the collateral value, Xemac will use the latest price files provided. Therefore, the collateral value can be impacted by an update of the underlying securities static data. An already allocated security can become invalid. Customers should be prepared to have sufficient securities in their collateral pool.
