Cross-border Payments and Reporting (CBPR+): Swift ISO 20022 Standards - Further information
Reference
This announcement has been superseded by F26003.
Clearstream Fund Centre (CFCL)1 informs clients that, effective
immediately
in order to improve reconciliation and reporting of cash messages, CFCL requests clients to use the following ISO 20022 fields to uniquely link the Notice to Receive with the corresponding Payment:
- End-to-End ID
- UETR
These references should remain consistent between the pre-advice and payment messages, and a unique reference must be present in at least one of these fields.
Clients should ensure that the reference matches between the payment instruction and the Pre-advice of Funds.
The use of “NONREF” as a reference should be avoided. CFCL strongly recommends using a unique reference to ensure Straight-Through Processing (STP).
The UETR and End-to-End ID fields will remain optional in camt.057 messages until 13 March 2026.
From 14 March 2026, clients must include at least one of these fields. Messages missing both fields after this date will be rejected.
CFCL will continue to process camt.057 messages as STP until 13 March 2026, even if these fields are not provided.
If clients are unable to include at least one of these fields by 14 March 2026, they may continue to send MT210 messages until the end of the coexistence period in November 2028, in order to avoid rejection.
