Clearstream1 offers clients a new opportunity to participate in the upcoming testing window for the Clearstream General Meeting Service, following the successful go-live of the Shareholder Communication Enhancement (SCE) and the ISO 20022 implementation and the first two testing windows held in 2025.

In addition, in light of General Meeting Service via ISS (formerly known as ISS Enhanced Service) discontinuation by the end of February 2026, clients are requested to migrate to the Clearstream General Meeting Service, which offers similar capabilities and a more integrated experience, by this deadline, further information can be found in Announcement C25023 (Transition to Clearstream General Meeting Service).

To ensure smooth onboarding and support the transition to the Clearstream General Meeting Service, Clearstream is offering a new testing window after the successful two held in September and November 2025 for clients to test the flow with MX messages and to validate their setup and integration with the new service:

  • Testing Window: 23 February 2026 to 6 March 2026

The testing period is open to:

  • Clients interested in adopting the ISO 20022-based Clearstream General Meeting Service.
  • Clients preparing to transition from General Meeting Service via ISS and seeking to validate their integration with the Clearstream General Meeting Service.

All clients are encouraged to take advantage of this testing opportunity to ensure readiness and benefit from the next level of automation and integration in general meeting processing.

Clients should subscribe before 17 February 2026 by sending the attached filled PDF subscription form “Subscription Form for General Meeting Testing” to connect-test@clearstream.com with object [Name of Institution] – General Meeting Subscription, clients should pay close attention to the details outlined in the form.

All impacted clients are encouraged to participate in these testing periods to ensure readiness and continuity of service.

Clients are reminded that all MX instructions via SwiftFin+ need to be addressed to our CBL DN ou=xxx,o=cedelull, o=swift both in the Live environment as well as in our testing windows.

The test will involve the following ISINs:

  • SHS SIEMENS AG (registered share) - DE0007236101 (Germany)
  • SHS TESLA MOTORS INC - US88160R1014 (United States)
  • SHS TOTAL SA - FR0000120271 (France)
  • SHS SWISSCOM AG (registered share) - CH0008742519 (Switzerland)

The testing scenarios will involve the possibility for clients to test main types of GM instructions – EVOT, PRXY and PHYS. On the German market we chose a registered share, so that request for registration of the position can be done together with the voting instruction.

As part of the implementation activities related to the upcoming activation of the new direct link to Switzerland published in Announcement A25064, the Swiss ISIN CH0008742519 has been included in the testing scope to test the new securities registration process via seev.004.
