Denmark: DKK credit balances subject to negative interest rates – new rate
Reference
Effective
8 September 2014
Customers holding DKK credit balances in Clearstream Banking1 will be subject to a 0.15% negative credit interest rate per annum.
This interest rate applies as an amendment of previous announcement A14064, dated 5 May 2014, and as a direct result of Clearstream Banking being exposed to negative interest charges due to the recent change in Danish market conditions and the Danish Central Bank’s latest decision to cut the rate on certificates of deposits.
Customers should note that the credit interest rate may be subject to change without prior notice.
