Spain: Migration of fixed income securities to Iberclear-CADE platform

Clearstream Banking1 would like to inform customers of the migration of certain fixed income securities to the Iberclear-CADE platform, effective

3 December 2015

The Spanish Central Securities Depository (CSD) Iberclear has confirmed that the fixed income securities listed below will migrate to the Iberclear-CADE platform on 3 December 2015.

These fixed income securities are traded at the Mercado de Renta Fija Electronica (MERF) and currently settle on the Iberclear-SCLV platform.

Impact on customers

Settlement times

The settlement instructions for the securities listed above will be subject to the Iberclear-CADE settlement deadlines as set out in the Creation Link Guide – Spain.

Cut-over information

  • 27 November 2015: Final trading date at MERF, with settlement on Iberclear-SCLV platform (T+3 cycle);
  • 30 November 2015: MERF market will cease to be operational;
  • 1 December 2015: First trading date at MERF, with settlement on Iberclear-CADE platform (T+2 cycle).

Instructions still pending on the 2 December 2015: these will be cancelled and reinstructed via the Iberclear-CADE platform. No action is required from customers for these instructions.

Instructions still pending on the 3 December 2015: these will be processed via the Iberclear-CADE platform.
