U.S.A.: Hurricane Sandy's impact on business activity : update III

Further to our Marketflash M12055 of yesterday, 30 October 2012, and according to the latest information received, operating conditions are expected to return to normal today Wednesday, as follows:

For securities trading:

Normal trading at the NYSE exchange, Nasdaq and other Nasdaq-owned entities.
For securities settlement:

Normal settlement activities at the FED.

DTCC is expected to maintain its normal activities today Wednesday, with the exception of all certificate-based services. Given the impacts to lower Manhattan and the inaccessibility of DTCC's headquarters, deposits, withdrawals, envelope and New York Window services continue to be suspended until further notice.

It is expected that U.S. physical securities may still not be processed as normal today Wednesday by our U.S. depository Citibank.
For asset services:

For certain securities, the Ex-dates were modified from 30 October to 31 October 2012.

Appropriate notifications have been sent to all concerned customers.

Cash activities were not impacted over the last two days and will continue today Wednesday as normal.
