Russia: Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 585 on the suspension by the Russian Federation of certain provisions of international treaties of the Russian Federation on taxation
Clearstream Banking1 informs clients that the Russian Presidential Decree No. 585, dated 8 August 2023 and coming into force on the same date, suspends the provisions of Russia's double taxation agreements with "unfriendly" countries.
Clearstream Banking is in discussion with the National Settlement Depository (NSD) to further understand and assess the impact for Clearstream Banking and its clients.
