Settlement and Custody
Centralised settlement and custody for mutual fund units, ETFs and hedge funds is an integral service of Vestima, the largest cross-border fund processing platform worldwide. Vestima provides the post-trade infrastructure for cross-border fund transactions, facilitating DVP exchange of cash and fund units in SWIFT message formats.
Single account settlement allows netting out cash flows. The settlement process remains the same regardless of the market or transfer agent clients may be dealing with. Clients benefit from seamless interoperability between international and domestic markets.
In addition to settlement in commercial bank money via our International Central Securities Depository (ICSD), Vestima also offers settlement of investment fund shares in central bank money via Clearstream’s CSDs, Clearstream Banking Frankfurt and LuxCSD.
