The following 114 currencies are currently eligible in our international central securities depository (ICSD). Currencies can either be ‘full settlement’ or ‘denomination only’. A denomination currency is the actual currency in which an instrument is issued but not necessarily settled. For instance a Costa Rican issuer could issue a bond in their local currency (CRC) but the redemptions and the settlement activity are conducted in USD.
