Vestima: November enhancements
Clearstream Banking1 informs clients that Vestima will be further upgraded from
20 November 2023.
Following Announcement A23078, the new version of Vestima will be further enhanced next month.
Impact on Order Issuers (OIs)

1. All OIs will have access to the new version of Vestima by default. They can be redirected to the legacy Vestima by clicking on the “Legacy Vestima” button in the main Menu.
2. The Menu will become horizontal as per the above.
3. The Event console:
will move to the left-hand side of the Menu.

5. The available balance will be shown in the graphical user interface (GUI) when placing a redemption order.
Reporting
6. New naming convention for the column’s header in the below reports. Column’s header “Business Type” will be renamed “Order Type”:
- OI Statement of orders;
- OI Statement of orders aggregated (Vestima&VestimaPRIME);
- OI Statement of orders Vestima;
- OI Statement of orders VestimaPRIME.
Trading Availability Check
7. Register account number and name at TAs will be shown in the results of the Eligibility Check whenever available (funds FPG Vestima only).
8. It will be possible for OIs to add comments (up to 500 characters) to a task when client information will be required.
9. Trading Availability Check will be accessible via API (complete fund Eligibility Check via API and client will be allowed to call connectivity APIs to get statuses of their tasks).
10. It will become possible to create a task from the pre-order screen if a fund is not tradable.
11. It will be possible to subscribe to a report that can be sent via file transfer every 30 minutes to see the status of the tasks.
Vestima decommissioning
The legacy Vestima will be decommissioned on 31 December 2024 for all OIs (no change in access rights). All OIs that use the “downloaded Order Book” functionality must be aware that there are more columns in the new Vestima Order Book, which changes the file download. All columns are described in the Vestima Guide for Order Issuers.
Impact on Master Participants and Report Receivers
1. The landing page will be the new Vestima and no longer the legacy Vestima. The sole impact is the appearance and experience that will be enhanced for Order Issuers.
2. New naming convention for the column’s header in the below reports. Column’s header “Business Type” will be renamed “Order Type”:
- MP-OI Statement of orders;
- MP-OI Statement of orders aggregated (Vestima&VestimaPRIME);
- RR Statement of orders.
