T2S Release 3.2 Status Update No. 2 – Completion of CBF End of Day processing, Friday 15 November 2019

15.11.2019

Clearstream Banking AG (CBF) informs customers that the CBF business day 15 November 2019 was closed in the CBF Production environment and the End of Day (EoD) reporting will be prepared according to the dedicated timeline provided to customers.

Today, at around 19:45, Clearstream will close its connectivity interface (T2S-I) to T2S while executing deployment activities. However, CBF’s automated connectivity channels will be open for customers. This means, that all successfully transmitted instructions will be on hold on the connectivity layer. This timeline is also valid for customers using ClearstreamXact via SWIFT, MQ or File Transfer. That is, instructions will be queued from Friday, 15 November 2019, 19:45 to Sunday, 17 November 2019, at around 06:00.

Customers transmitting instructions via SWIFT will receive an acknowledgement upon receipt of the instruction and the existing message subscription. The CBF Business Validation Feedback will be provided once all implementation activities are completed in CBF and the instructions will be transmitted to T2S.

CBF recommends customers acting in ICP mode to transmit their instructions once the CBF maintenance window is completed and the regular processing with the T2S platform has started. According to the latest transition plan, this point will be achieved on Monday, 18 November 2019, at around 01:30.

T2S will close the online functionality (T2S GUI, U2A) and the “Straight Through Processing” channels (STP, A2A) today at 20:00. Incoming instructions that will reach T2S during the deployment phase are queued.

The next Operational News for T2S Release 3.2 is scheduled for today at 20:00.
