Colombia: Equities T+2 settlement cycle migration

Clearstream Bankinginforms customers that the Colombian CCP, Cámara de Riesgo Central de Contraparte announced the decision to to shorten the settlement cycle of equities transactions from T+3 to T+2 in September 2019.

The CCP have informed us that the financial market infrastructure entities have submitted, to the Superintendence of Finance, amendments to their internal rules incorporating this change in order to get the relevant approvals.

The implementation is expected to occur in September 2019.
