Greece: Proposal to amend the tax law regarding the decrease of sales tax

The Greek Ministry of Finance has announced an amendment to a tax law, which includes a proposal to reduce the tax on sales transactions from 0.20% to 0.10%.

The Greek Ministry of Finance will be submitting the proposed law to parliament for approval.

The effective date of this change, if the law is passed, is expected to be 1 January 2023.
