Czech Republic: Clearstream to offer domestic EUR settlement for T-Bills and T-Bonds
Clearstream Banking1 informs customers that effective
16 January 2023
Czech Government Bonds, T-Bills and T-Bonds denominated in Euro (EUR) will become fully eligible for domestic settlement against payment in EUR.
UniCredit Bank Czech Republic and Slovakia a.s. will act as the local agent provider for Clearstream by connecting to the Czech CSD, Centrální Depozitář Cenných Papírů (CDCP) and Czech National Bank (CNB).
Impact on customers
EUR denominated T-Bills and T-Bonds settling in EUR will follow the same settlement deadlines as CZK denominated securities. Please refer to the Settlement times page for more information.
