Swisscanto Funds: Change in service of Central Order Collection Point

Clearstream Banking1 would like to inform customers that effective

1 October 2020

Clearstream Fund Desk will no longer be the Central Order Collection Point for Swisscanto Funds.

For CH and LU Swisscanto Funds (see attachment), Clearstream Fund Desk currently acts as a Central Order Collection Point, receiving orders for these funds and executing certain functions and controls on behalf of the Fund Manager.

Background

As of 1 October 2020 Clearstream Fund Desk will no longer be the Central Order Collection Point for Swisscanto funds. This role will be adopted by the respective Luxembourg Transfer Agent or the Swiss Depotbanks as Order Handling Agents. These Order Handling Agents reserve the right to reject any orders in relevant Swisscanto funds or share classes in line with the conditions of the Fund Prospectus.

Impact on customers

Customers that currently use, or are migrating to, Clearstream Banking’s Vestima service can continue to send orders to Clearstream Banking.

From 1 October 2020, Vestima Order Issuers placing orders in special classes (referenced in the attachment) via Vestima are requested to add their Cooperation Agreement Number (KVK-Nummer) to each Vestima order, using the field “External Narrative” in the Vestima Browser. If ISO 15022 is used, the KVK has to be entered into field :70E: or if ISO 20022 is used, then the KVK can be entered into the tag “Order Waiver Details” as described in the sample below:

Order Issuers are requested to enter only this four-digit number in the field, without any additional characters or text.

Customers who are currently sending orders to Clearstream Fund Desk and are not migrating to Vestima, are requested to establish alternative links for their orders.
