U.S.A.: New IRS W-8 forms to be used as of 1 May 2022
Clearstream Banking1 would like to inform customers that following an update of the below mentioned W-8 forms and instructions by the U.S Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in October 2021, Clearstream Banking is no longer able to accept any outdated versions of each of the below forms.
As of 1 May 2022, only IRS forms issued in October 2021 can be accepted by Clearstream Banking. Any forms issued prior to October 2021 and received on or after 1 May 2022 will be rejected.
